I thought I'm a food weirdo.
- Dont like chinese festive foods, i.e. bak kwa, mooncake, tang yuan, huatt kway, ba zhang...
- Like fried ang ku kueh
- Dont like the tau pok in laksa
- Like normal sliced fish in milky soup
- Dont like too much cai poh in fried carrot cake
Until I met this lady in queue in front of me. She ordered mee tai mak in prawn soup, without prawn only wanted fish cake and... an additional lor neng (braised egg).
The auntie also dont know how to charge her, so they charged her $3 for normal prawn noodle price and a additional 50cent for the egg. As much as I like mee tai bak, but in prawn soup? I'm normal.
