Our lab had it's virgin fire hazard today. It was a late lazy afternoon and I was sitting at the doorstep of Prep Rm 1 with mcp, talking. Along came sleeping beauty (temp. bio lab tech) who wants to switch on the gas tap. The 3 of us were joking around when Yati suddenly came out of Prep Rm 2 and shouted.

It's about this distance from Rm 1 to Rm 2.
The 3 blur toot TSOs looked blankly at Yati.
"Yaaa-ear, Yaaa-ear!"
The 3 still looked blankly and replied slowly, "hhhuuuuhhhh...?"
I thought she shouted, "Tired! Tired!" Plus she will always talk at the top of her voice, shouting. So it was a norm for us that she shouted.
She continued to shout even louder, "FIRE!!! FIRE!!!"
It must be the hot weather and the lazy feel after lunch. Cause it took about 2 secs before the 3 of us jumped and run towards Prep Rm 2. It was smoky when we reached there.
O.M.G.
The dustbin caught fire and the plastic melted. It's caused by some reaction of the solid chemicals that Yati throwed in.
Should I thank god there's no sprinkler or should I be afraid that there's actually no sprinkler...? ^^""
We end up laughing at our slow-mo reaction when Yati was shouting and the possibilty of her finally being on the headline this time in a crude way if the fire is bigger and had swallowed her (its an insider joke regarding her not being headline for the car winning stint). Afterwhich we called the culprit owner, the teacher that asked us to prepare the chemicals for the E. fest thingy. He was laughing so hard at the incident. HEY! MY DUSTBIN IS GONE OKAY! But luckily he did came down to help us disposing the rest of the liquid stuffs.
It's been a tired day. Physically. Psychologically. Mentally.
