Strongly recommend NQMM new album No. 2 Meal. It consist of rock, sentimental song, R & B and the latest chink-out like song. With two new members, Young 17 Lara and moody-Huang-Yi-Da-lookalike Zhang Jie joining in. 1st generation of NQMM is rocker type, and now it's more young boyband type.
01. 破曉 - *applause* Superb song. Lara's voice is sweet yet powerful! Very rocker grand! Best song of the album! Great tune by Yu Hao, chim chim lyrics by Devon. Yu Hao must be striving to beat the record of the longest interlude set by Yi Fu Zhi Ming ah.
02. 消失 - A sentimental song which MV was directed by Jay. The Xiao Shi that I'll remember is the one by F.I.R. This song really Disappear in my memory.
03. WHAT CAN I DO - Sweet Lala song. Lara's voice can get pitchy high here. Lazy tune.
04. 野東西 - At the first listen of it, I thought it might belong to old band, Tuo La Ku's work. Youthful shouting song.
05. 最後一枚笑 - Devon's 1st try at composing and the chorus is catchy. Nice song to listen on a lazy afternoon.
06. 牡丹江 - A hyper version of Dong Feng Po. Gary did a good job in composing a china R & B. A rather different work of the usual Brit-rock Gary. Fang Wen Shan did a Dong Feng Po part II lyrics. Lara is really multi talented.
07. 原來 - Quiet sentimental song. Ge Qian type. Zahng Jie's work. He sound like a better version of Huang Yi Da.
08. 吃你煮的魚 - Quieter song. I think Zhang Jie is the sentimental part of Jay. His vocal is not bad though. But these two songs are too-him. Sounds like I'm listening to his own album instead of NQMMs.
09. 橘子汽水 - I expect a similar lively Xiang Cao Ba Bu but no. Summer-Autumn song.
10. 給巧克力的歌 - One of my other favourite song. Lara's work. Her words really suits the title. Her vocal took another change this time.
11. 拂夜 - Yeah! Ju Pao's work = 1st generation NQMM. Very typical work of him. Sounds good for an inspiring tv serial title song.
12. Angel's Hero - The tune is okay only, but look at the lyrics, and it'll immediately remind you of.... *drumrolls* Jay. They actually dedicate this to him.
