:: Memoirs of a Siao Cha Bo ::
I was reading Memoirs of Geisha when the thought popped onto me, "Why didnt I named my blog add as Memoirs of XXX? I'm not a Geisha..." The first strung of words that I thought of turned out to be, siao cha bo. Imagine memoirsofxiaochabo.blogspot.com. At one glance, it looks like cha shao bao.
Today I had a super memory lapse. I was supposed to do a work review for my anniversary in MJ. Then I cant remember what have I done from oct - dec last year! Totally nothing. I cant even remember if I did went for any course. All I can remember is watching IJUKSA. Gulp. After searching for many clues and hints, I've made a conclusion that I did not go for anything. Sounds like a *making-a-big-L-using-thumb-and-index-finger-pointing-to-forehead* loser.
So, as I was telling Karen Jie Jie that I dont like to blog about work, today's incident at work is kinda worth mentioning. As I was doing my review on the system, I was talking to MCP about the aunties company at work. There's political issues going on. Somehow, after some talk, I find that there's actually another side to the story. I mean, I might be too influenced by the usual aunties I hanged out with that I'm becoming more biased. Thanks to MCP's sight, I managed to regain the balance point. MCP asked if these kind of political issues are common. I said yes. Only difference is that they are aunties. Plus with our junior status as opposed to their senior status, we cant really do much. And to the main problem that causes all the displease with the aunties, it's got to do with auntie nailing down onto another one. So no matter what the other one does, they will have something to say. The moral of the story, don't nailed down a person.
I came up with that moral, yet I think I violated it. Like one particular who did not repent on his mistake and continued. I nailed his behaviour. Which in turn reminds me of my dad's saying, "Cannot condemned just because he did it once mah!"
Now... is my sympathism going to overflow again? Not before my recent favourite words, "Brought it upon yourself."
