Yesterday went on a double movie date with Ah Ren Jie Jie, Eve, Eng eng and Kel. Double movie date, i.e. 2 went for Almost Love while the other 3 went to vroom in Cars.

The show was hilarous. Honestly, its the most enjoyable K movie I've watched. (Funny how I didnt enjoyed My Sassy Girl.) I simply enjoyed the part when they go to the ktv. Ji Hwan and Da Rae was angry with each other but upon reaching the kbox, their partners asked them to duet. They relunctant but in the end, "No. 84545." lol. They must have sang it too many times. Then comes the dorky dancing.

But being a k movie, they die die must follow the trend that there must be some tragic that happened. Duhz. I wonder if I'm cold blooded. I looked at the girl sitting beside me who's crying her heart out, then another sitting in front wiped her tears, THEN another in front blink blink and rubbed her eyes. While everyone was engrossed with Ji Hwan hugging Da Rae (finally), I sat there amusing myself, wondering if I'm too heartless. But not really leh, I did shed my first tears for IJUKSA. Hmm... and thats the only one drama.

Oh and 50 1st dates. Ha ha...!
(OMG! insert panda screaming emoticon. After I found out Deuce the bigalow is Ula in 50 1st dates, now I know Sean Astin the Sam in LOTR is Lucy's steroid-ed brother! OMG!)
I have to say Koreans are better at drama. Perhaps they are used to be long winded. I find Almost Love a bit chop chop end story. There's too much to be say and not enough time to say. The interaction between the two leads are fine and good. The humour in front is good. But the twist at the back, is not expected and a bit not detailed enough. What made Ji Hwan return? What helps him to get back on his feet? Why did his dad let him leave?
Overall, it proved again one of my theory. There's no best friendship with a boy and a girl.
Upon ending of the show, we walked out and saw the poster to The Lake House, an adaption of Il Mare.

(Speaking of that, I've yet to find the vcd.)
And this morning, I saw this quote from Pink Is The New Blog and had a good laugh.
The Lake House is the harrowing tale of a frustrated architect (Keanu Reeves) who must save the passengers of a lake house that has a bomb set to explode if the lake house goes below 50 MPH.
lol.
No no, Keanu the hero is not going to save the world this time. It's not some horror ghost story either, just a unique love story about two individuals who live in the same house exchanging letters, but in fact they are living two years apart.
Hmm, as much as I wanted to watch Keanu Reeves, I think I prefer the K version with the sassy girl though. Keanu is supposed to save the world, travel through matrix and not being lovey dovey.
Ah! Pirates of the Carribean is up soon. Yippee! Time for Johnny Depp the favourite actor and Orlando Bloom the handsomest elf.

Oh ya... Everything was exciting enough until I read this:
炙手可热的韩星Rain,12月选在香港为亚洲巡回演唱首站,Rain迷一定雀跃。
Scream.

Coz soon he'll come to Singapore soon after that as part of the tour.
Or not shall I fulfil MY HK TRIP THIS DECEMBER?!
7 months ago, I almost wanted to elope to HK, 5 months ago eloping to BKK. I think I will be hit right on the head with my mum's iron if I did that months ago.
Hopefully the papers is correct. The toopid tabloid papers lied that he's coming to fine city in June, which is now.
My foot ah!
Scream.
Rain, Go Rain, It's Raining, It's Raining...
